As I was searching for marketing trends all over the world, I faced with an interesting phrase: “Guerrilla Marketing”. Hence, I searched a lot to find descriptions and examples about this special phrase.
I found many exciting examples about Guerrilla Marketing, such as Coca Cola’s happiness machine. In 2010, Coca Cola created a wonderful experience for some students by the innovative idea of happiness machine. But, what does it mean? Happiness machine was a Coca Cola vending machine in a shop at St. Jon’s university in New York that dispensed not only beverage but also man surprising things such as flowers or pizza.
Coca Cola Company recorded an amazing movie by five hidden cameras around that vending machine from unscripted acts of student, their getting surprised, and happiness, then shared the video on YouTube. Now the video has more than 8 million views! It also won a prestigious CLIO gold interactive award.
